After a full manual uninstall. What's the right order to not get unmodified content errors?

Re: Proper way to install BF2 + SF?
1) Put CD in computer
2) Keep clicking "next"
3) ????
4) Profit...
Srs though, just install it like you usually would, there's no special way. Once it's installed download and install the patches.. What part are you having trouble with?
I sometimes get the "modified" error too, I think it's a bug in BF because I have no modified files and it only happens rarely. -

Re: Proper way to install BF2 + SF?
- Uninstall Battlefield 2: Special Forces, and the Battlefield 2 base game.
- Install the Battlefield 2 base game.
- Install Battlefield 2: Special Forces.
- Install the full patch
If thats what you mean.

Re: Proper way to install BF2 + SF?
this is the patch order:
BF2 > SF > 1.41 > EF > AF > 1.41 > highway tampa
if you dont have EF/AF, then just skip that part."Crunch's First Officer"

Re: Proper way to install BF2 + SF?
often modifed content errors are RAM issues
or are sometimes are on a certain MAP
if you can just get a fresh copy of the 'bad' map folders
it often saves a full re-installComment
