BF2142 CTD when viewing awards

My game CTD's whenever I try to view awards. It crashes when I click on it to see what I need. Has anyone else encoutered this? It is fresh install of the game as well as the graphics drivers.

repatch, using incremental patch.

Install 1.40 before 1.50. Doesn't have to be the incremental.

BF2142 > v1.25 > NS > v1.25 > v1.40 > v1.50

that's the order I did it, and don't get any CTDs.
