BF2 issue

I have recently bought a new computer.It came with Vista 64 home premium.I installed BF2 and all my little xpacks the installed patch 1.41.I get into the server browser and all the servers are red.I tried uninstall/reinstall and nothing is working.Ive tried to run as administrator and in XP compatibility mode.

specs are as follows

Core 2 Quad Q9300 (Y) 2.5 GHz
8 GB Ram
750 GB SATA 3G
GeForce 9800 GT
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer

red servers are usually indicating they are a different game version than what you have.

if you have 1.41 installed, the number in your menu should be: 1.1.2965-797.0

make sure when you install you use the correct install order to avoid any problems:

bf2 > SF > 1.41 > EF/AF > 1.41 > highway tampa.

servers running a custom map or mod that you do not have will show up in red also.
