BF2 Radio Chatter taken fromApocalypse Now?

Has anyone else noticed the background noise while the tape of Kurtz is playing in Apocalypse now sounds identical to some of the radio chatter heard in the main menu music in BF2? it occurs a little after 13:25 into the movie if anyone wants to look, i cant find a clip of it on youtube.

That's how a radio sounds...squelch noise doesn't sound different on different receivers...

I hear the same thing on my dads HAM Radio...did they steal it from him or is it more likely that instead of getting radio equipment they used a generic sound library?

But yeah, chances are that the same effect has found it's way into both products from some effect CD they used.
