Well if you don't have this game and haven't played it - the demo should still be up on PSN...

My bro got this a week or so ago, and I just started playing through it today - it's good fun. Some intense flying required to dodge those incoming SAM missiles / enemy aircraft missiles

Anyone else got this?

I havn't played online yet, as I was downloading the UFC demo (and the Red Faction demo) - might get some time on Sunday to try out online... I know online would probably make the Campaign mode ALOT easier since your two AI wingmen can't fly for anything nor can they even lock-on and engage... they suck (well they did get a couple kills, but they're not as good as me)

I just completed the 8th or 9th mission, the one where you have to destory 3 nodes by flying really low to the ground (flying under the EMP areas) - that was fun... I flew a bit too low though on my first run

I just wish the end of mission replay had more options then just "1/4 speed, 1/2 speed, & change camera" - I want the Skate 2 replay editor in HAWX :lol:

I didn't like the demo. Infinite missiles and flying in random third person :/

Thinking about getting it on the 360, no one on my friends list on PSN has it so gonna get it on the 360. But I mean, I have Ace Combat 6 if I want a flying game, all this is is a dumbed down version with flashier graphics.

You don't get Infinite missiles... you only get that in the tutorial for the demo, in the real game you have like 100 missiles... which is plenty for each mission...

The assistance off view takes some time to get used to, but it's actually pretty fun since you can flick it on and quickly perform a brake and flip then whoever was following you ends up flying past you and you get directly behind them, then bam 2 shots with the missiles :)

Yeah I have it on the PS3 I quite like it, bit of a laugh played versus briefly online and got my *** handed to me. I should try the Co-op as Dan said the AI on your team are practically worthless!

I've never played Ace Combat 6...

Its a 360 exclusive, dunno if you have a 360. Its pretty fun, but its a typical Japanese storyline.

Definalty played a little co-op earlier and it's so much better was on the mission where you have to escort the AWAC to find the jamming stations made it so much easier with four proficient people attacking and defending.

PS. I really really hate escort mission in any game :cry:

That AWAC mission over Chicago right? Just before the one when you gotta fly under the EMP nodes a mission or two later?

You get 4 people? cool... thought it would only be 3...

Well 4 people including me, so three other people and myself :) I didn't really explain that very well in the first post.
