Nope you should all pay for it just like I have as well as my friends.

Honestly get a job, its less than 20$ CAD now to buy it. If you cant afford that than you have serious issues and need to redirect you're time from playing games and towards a job.

You're completely missing the point.

I think the majority of the people pushing for this are people that already own the boosters (as I do) and just want to be able to play them. How often can you actually play EF online? The only server that I see populated on a regular basis (aside from 'time servers') is Gotland which usually has an unacceptable ping for me. If everyone playing ranked BF2 had the booster maps I'm sure there would be many more servers running them, possibly in rotation along with the vanilla maps.
