We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.

The point is that if it was a free, and mandatory, download, then everyone who has BF would have it and therefore a larger liklihood of there being servers for it. As of now I think the only EF and AF servers left are timepad servers because few people have the packs, and those who did buy it never have anyone to play it with. A shame, too, since there are some good maps there, although it doesn't appeal to the Karkand/IO crowd so it still wouldn't be that popular, but at least there would be a better chance for those who like the armour aspect of BF.

This will never happen, it's already been discussed to death. EA/Dice would rather have those files sit unused by everyone than give them away for free to anyone.

It is true that if it were included in a patch we would see an instant surge in populated EF/AF servers, which would be great for the BF2 community. As you said, it's a shame these boosters are not more popular, because the maps are quite good IMO.
Unfortunately, we'll never see EA do this while the Complete Collection is still available in stores.

This would never happen, this is probably the 5th time someone has tried to start a poll like that to try and get the booster packs free and they NEVER work. I would love to see more people playing them also, I enjoyed them immensely while people were actually playing and not padding. But you have to remember, EA is a business, the cold truth is that they don't care what the consumers wants, they just want money. Cynical as it may be, its the truth.

I dont understand, from a business point of view, why EA would ever release the booster packs for free. Its unfair for those who have already bought it. As much as I would like to see it happen, it wont.

i payed for it and would not be mad if they released it for free. Would be nice to actually play with people on these maps. IMO these are some of the best maps and it sucks you can never find a server with them in rotation.
