BR on local servers?

Hey,

would it be possible to see the BR files from a local match? And if not could I enable something that would record it and afterwards I would still be able to watch it xD?

Yes it is possible just open the console with ~ and type demo.recordDemo ''filename''
when you want to stop the recording just type demo.stoprecording

DT, are you saying that you can just type that in the console, even on servers where BR is NOT enabled? and for "filename" you just name it what you want & it will be there in the demo folder?

I tried it on the normal servers (not lan) and it doesn't work there.
It only works on lan and you need to typ this then: e.g.: demo.recordDemo test1

And you need to make a folder in your c/bf2142..../mods/bf2142/DEMOS

Only if you are admin and the server is set up correctly.
On local servers i believe you are automatically admin if you're the host, that's why it works.

DT or someone else, do you know how to open and edit those xD? Cause I can't open them directly and can't open them in the community -> br clips in the game itself...

You have to move them from
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\demos
to
My Documents\Battlefield 2142\Profiles\Default\demos
and then you can access them via the community -> BR

Only move the bf2142demo file, not the cam file.
