Good place to buy ORIGINAL keys?

seams that COD:W@W will never be released over here, so I was thinking in buy one at Ebay, and buy more 3 keys to my other machines.

so is there any online store which sells original keys for good prices outhere?

I would suggest purchasing it on STEAM/D2D, which would be the safest more reliable way to purchase your games online when they are unavailable locally. As you are guaranteed to be able to play the game, including any keys you need and can get support if there are any problems.

Yeah, you wont get ripped off by doing a download from steam. HeartSmasher has the right idea.

thanks! I already knew about Steam, but seams they only sell the full game, not the keys alone... aside that, I think is a little expensive for a download version, $49.99 it's the same price on the real stores, which I'll get the real deal... :shock:

any other place more cheaper? :laugh:

Most online key stores only sell hijacked accounts or generated keys.

You could try checking ebay for people who buy games in Asia and then just sell the keys, but apart from that, who knows.

If you want to be sure not to be screwed over, basically steam or D2D is all you got

I haven't heard of a single site that sells keys that seemed completely legit

You could try contacting the Publisher, they may sell you keys or they may be able to direct you to a place that can.

Steam lets you install install your games on multiple computers, so there's no need for the extra keys.

If you connect from the same IP, you can play online together (at least in CoD4 you could).

As others have said, buying just a key online is almost certainly illegal, as those keys were most likely not obtained legitimately (ie. why would Activision let someone download CODWW from a torrent, then buy a legit key for less than the retail price of the full version?)

If you only have 1 copy of the retail game, but 2 people want to use it simultaneously online, you're pretty much talking about doing something illegal.

IMO, the only technically legit thing you can do, is find someone who still has CODWW in their possession, but no longer plays it, and buy/get their key (or have them send you the whole game).

If you connect from the same IP, you can play online together (at least in CoD4 you could).

That's news to me. If 2 people from the same IP using the same key try to join a non-cracked server, the Master Authentication server should deny one of them access...perhaps even give an error as soon as they start the game up. If what you say is accurate, I'd be quite surprised.

I've done it before. It helps that you don't need a CD to start up CoD multiplayer either. :thumbsup:

You haven't done it on COD: WaW, at least not on a legit server. Demonware authentication prevents it, and also makes LAN play without an internet connection mostly impossible. I guess there are ways around it for LAN play, but I personally don't know how. But if two people try to play with the same key at the same time, one will be kicked with the "CD Key is already in use" message. And if you try to play on a LAN with no internet connection present, even if both players have unique keys, you get the same message. I found that out while trying to play some zombies with my wife while I was waiting for my ISP to turn on my cable at my new location. Then I tried regular MP, even though my wife hates 1v1 with me and no bots, and got the same message.
