Does anyone know how in CoD4 montages they get the still camera shots of inside a demo.

That's a mix of third person view with a recorded demo from the player running and some spectator views...

The first part just after 0:30 is third person view with angle 180 (well not 180, it's more like 170 or -170)
The part where he jumps from balcony to roof and snipes into the 3 story (A bomb building) - that looks like it's specator view... they probably either staged that part OR there was a shoutcaster who was in specate recording the match...
