I have been playing bf2 for about 3 years now, and i have had the Punkbuster issues, the occasional kick to desktop, but i have never had the continuous CTD like i have been experiencing this week.
I will join a server and anywhere from 2-10 minutes in my bf2 completely crashes to desktop no error message prompts up either.
I have tried everything....
Uninstalling/Reinstalling multiple times Punkbuster/BF2
Downloading the latest patch
Updated my drivers
Took out my ram/video card reseated them and cleaned internal parts fans/etc.
Did a fresh download of direct x 9.0
Ran Auslogics disk defragger/anti virus programs.
Turned my in game video settings to all low, geometry on high.
Turned my video card settings to 800 * 600 60Hertz refresh rate.
Ran BF2 in windowed mode to see if i could prompt a error message...
Took the case off my computer to see if it was a heat issue.
Turned off firewall, All virus programs/etc
Cleaned out the cache in my bf2 folder/punkbuster folders.
And there are probably a few things i have forgot to mention aswell.... Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
Manufacturer:
HP Pavilion 061
Processor:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz
Memory:
1024MB RAM
Hard Drive:

Video Card:

Like i said i have been playing Bf2/Call of duty for years with this setup. So it shouldn't be a hardware issue.
Thanks, Rossiman
