hi,

i want to buy ArmA but there is a bunch of different versions..

Armed Assault: Combat Operations
Armed Assault: Queens Gambit
Armed Assault: Gold

which one do most servers run??

Armed Assault Gold is Armed Assault: Combat Operations with Queen's Gambit (the expansion pack). They are all the same servers, so I wouldn't worry about server capacity on each. But, if I were you I would save my money for Armed Assault 2 which will be coming out soon.

As both of the replies above say.

Take your time mate, and wait for the sequel which is somewhere just around the corner. Untill then kill some time with anything else rather than spending your money on the first ArmA.

Armed Assault Queens Gambit is the expansion, Gold is both (although, these days, you can't buy new vanilla Combat Operations as they only sell Queens Gambit).

But yeah, with ArmA2 so close, I'd save your cash
