COD2 Multiplayer start crash

Sorry if there was a cod series support section, i couldnt see one

but i have that annoying problem where it crashes whenever i start up multiplayer in vista, singleplayer works fine. I just got cod2 today and it did this with cod4 untill a week or so later, how do i fix it now?

yeah its Cod2mp_s.exe has stopped working. I looked over google and there were ways people fixed it that were too confusing for me to look into but had the same problem. apparantly its about the realtek driver (which i have, but cant change)

oh gawwd. I had this problem, I took it to the tech forum, first reply made me DL something and it was fixed. Post it up in tech forum
