Sands of Fire is a new story breaking Battlefield 2 movie, with over 850 shots and it's being developed for 3 years and counting now. The release is planned somewhere this year (2009). Those 2 guys, Daniele Ciccone & Davy Staelens the creators of Sands of Fire have had many projects before Sands of Fire, like the well known "The Fallen One" recorded in Battlefield: Vietnam.

Even before Battlefield 2 was released they had already the story done and had the most visual effects already in their head. Then, on January the 1st, year 2006 the first teaser (click) came out. Now, we skip a moment. Or you want me to make a 3 pages long story?

Now, December the 27th 2008 the final trailer (click) came out in Vimeo. Where the first details of the story came.

The movie will be 45 minutes long, providing us the longest Machinima ever made before. And in my opinion the most expected also.

I remember when it was first announced, I said to myself "Wow! This was made in a game?!" - It looks amazing, just get it out before everybody forgets about Battlefield 2

Three years in the making hope it will be worth the wait seeing the trailers it shouldn't disappoint.
