In the mod, there are "mystery" bonus items/pickups you can get, but you can't tell what they are before you get them. One of them, unfortunately, wipes out all of your ammo, instantly. :|:

Too harsh, IMO, for a game where you depend so much on your ammo/shooting to stay alive. At least if they would've made that "anti" bonus flash a different colour or something (ie. red)...so if you were too greedy and grabbed it too quick, yeah, you'd get the penalty. But if you were paying attention and saw it was a negative bonus, you could avoid it.
