Holy crap! I knew SWAT was bad but...

So I followed a link Field posted to the SWAT forum. I signed up and posted a ***** about being banned a while back. Not really asking for an unban, just for the reason I was banned. While I was waiting for a reply, I read a few more of the un-ban request so I'd know what to expect.

So they really are that stupid? How can someone with no knowledge of NAT be an administrator for a server? Why would they ban for two people using the same IP in the first place, as the logical reason for it would be two people playing from the same house?

EDIT: I was just looking through a few of the other ban appeals, and these guys are really bad. At least they seem to be pretty honest. "We banned you for having a good score. You can't be too careful. Anyone better than me might be a cheater."

In an earlier post about what is wrong with this game, many people sited the community as a large part of the problem. I submit that this post is EXACTLY the kind of thing people were referring to. Who's killing this game? Idiots like the admins who posted in that thread.

I agree with jerseyjoe in that thread. The internets are no place for logical, intelligent, mature, and knowledgable people, and certainly nobody wants such people on their server. IMO his whole family should be banned just in case smart is hereditary.

the problem with that is alot of people that play in clans play and socialize in only a couple houses out of the whole town.
