Questions about 2142 CD

My friend recently got a new computer, and he wants bf2142. I want to see if it works before i buy it for him.
Can i do this?
Do i have to use my EA account to log in or can i use his?
Do i have to uninstall from my computer before i can install on his?
I think i would have to, otherwise i wouldn't be able to use my CD key. Surely this would work, as it is just changing computers?

You can install Battlefield on any pc and create your own account. Why? because Battlefield will only work when you play it from the official disc. And no you don't have to uninstall it first to play on a different pc. If you wanna play together you will need a second copy though..
