So I just got my fancy new Sapphire HD 4870 1GB GGDR5 video card and it says on the box how it is one the top cards for DirectX 10.1 games. Well what games run that and how do you get the game to run in DX 10 instead of 9?

Re: DirectX 10.1
Games like World in Conflict or Crysis immediately come up to mind. You shouldn't need to set it to run in DX10 per se. Just make sure you have the latest updates, and the game should configure it for you. Of course, you should be able to access the nitty gritty stuff under Options in whatever game you're playing or the Catalyst Control Center (the ATi control app).

Re: DirectX 10.1
I don't think DX10.1 actually improves what you see much. AFAIK, it improves filtering, gives a slightly better shader model, and gives more support on rendering stuff.

Re: DirectX 10.1
All games that support DX10 also support DX9.
DX10 looks better, DX10.1 will look the same but you should have better FPS.

Re: DirectX 10.1
Apparently it improves added effects such as AA etc, which I suppose generally falls under the term efficiency, which is what DX10 was geared towards imo, given that you can't entice people with task switching or virtualisation lol
DX11 is quite mouthwatering though
