Major problem!!!! Help required now!!!!!

HI, I JUST LATELY INSTALLED THE 1.2 TO 1.3 PATCH (1.3). AND, WHEN THE 1.3 PATCH, PATCHED THE GAME UP, I THOUGHT OF PLAYING SOME MULTIPLAYER. BUT WHEN I WENT ON THERE, MY STATS HAVE BEEN RESET TO ZERO:shock:!!!!! I MADE A BACK-UP ON MY MEMORY STICK:nod:, AND TRIED MOVING THE MPDATA FILE INTO THE PROFILE FOLDER. I THOUGHT I WOULD BE GOOD NOW AND GET MY RANK 65 WITH 10TH PRESTIGE AND ALL GUNS BACK, BUT WHEN I WENT BACK ON, THEY WERE STILL ZERO:super pissed:!!!!!!!!!

I WANT MY RANK AND GUNS BACK NOW!!!!! CAUSE I'M NOT RE-RANKING UP AGAIN!!

ANY WAY TO GET THEM BACK????

First of all, caps isn't going to help you convey your message at all.

Have you ever used any power ranking servers or the likes? Treyarch has reset many of these power rankers back to 1, normally the ones with 65 10 levels. Also, did you use a program designed to backup your profile or did you just take the mpdata file and stick it somewhere else? Cause that won't work, in CoD4 when you did that it reset it the second it was replaced.

I already did that CoD WaW Profile Bak-up, and followed the instuction for re-installing it, and it still RANK 1:cry:!!!!!!!

funny you should say that did a uninstall & reinstall plus a re patch,

& had backed up my profile to ( with a little profile utility) & lost all my rank
& unlocks:hmm:

but to be honest i find the game a bit to nerft up & a bit of a spray fest, so im back in cod4:salute:

Its strange, there is one way of editing the mpdata file in the registry but I am not too sure on it, read it ages ago when the game first came out, you have to swap the CD keys out with some default one, then replace it when you get ingame and you keep the rank or something, but it may get you banned if I am not mistaken, for file tampering.

We had quite a large discussion on that in these forums from someone who did that. Over 90% agreed that was not legit to do.

And if these ranks were not honestly earned anyway...Prestige lvl 10 rank 65, then justice has been served imo.

Too many people used the power rank severs. I know that there must be away around this as I still see enough of the higher ranks out there. It's funny when they have that high of a rank, but never finish even in the top 3 on either team. I just kept my basic 65 rank to distinguish that I had never used any of those dinky servers. I'm so glad that phase of this game is done. I couldn't even find a good regular server during that time.
