I dunno, that band (hed)P.E. is heavily into conspiracy theories, new world order and extra terrestrial life type of stuff. I liked the wallpaper and didn't pay much attention to the symbols and stuff. I thought it was all gibberish.


And it's cool to turn your computer and stare at the pretty lights while the game loads. But the only problem is when you have to pop in a disc constantly, the reach gets a bit annoying after a while.

LOL I am a freak you need to overclock that 45nm chip to at least 4 ghz lol

i have an E8500 at 3.3Ghz with some aftermarket heatsink fan in an antec 900, realisticly how high could i overclock the cpu and not have any problems like high temps or crashing..?

easily to 4.2 or higher as long as you have a decent CPU fan as well. On stock you might be able to push 3.8 maybe 4.

Ill be helping Moose overclock his 8500 when it comes in. To really get full potential of your video cars you need to be in the 3.2 to 3.6 hz range....

Not necessarily. I bought my E8500 used from a good friend of mine. He was pulling 4.6 Ghz out of it on a chilled water setup. I can only reach 4.1 Ghz because of a motherboard limitation.

Just instabilities and stuff I guess. You shouldn't have a problem with it if you just stress test it after each OC. If the temps are fine and it doesn't crash during the test then it'll be fine.
