Battlefield 2 crouching Problem

When i was in bf2 play when i crouch it stayed crouching when it not suppose too the character suppose to just pop back up when u let go of Ctrl key anyways i hate this because i use Ctrl to pan around in the airplane cockpit. and when the key gets stuck i end up crashing cause i forgot to click CTRl again. I tryed reinstall didnt work. Repatching didnt work. I had other problem when i pressed W to walk it would automatically run. But that was fixed when i reinstalled it. I just can fix the Crouching key. I dont wanna change keys. Help me please.

Go to My Documents (Documents in Vista) and find the Battlefield 2 Folder. Delete that folder. This will reset your game to all defaults the next time you load up. Reinstalling the game doesn't delete this folder.

You sure it's not your keyboard? Is it only in BF2? If it isn't, then try using another keyboard or a different USB port.

I tried a different keyboard didnt work.

Well, if you Really reinstalled, Really deleted your BF2 folder in My Documents, and Really tried a new keyboard. Then I would say that the BF2 gods just hate you.

If not, I suggest Really doing what we suggest.

Control Panel > Accessibility Options | Its right infront of you, just untick the Use Sticky keys Box and hit apply.

That was all you needed to type.

Just ignore the rest of his post.

Possibly, but if he really reinstalled, then it would have defaulted back to original settings.

Same with if he really deleted the BF2 directory in My Documents.

Now I am not calling him a liar. But if he really is telling the truth, then its not the game doing it.

No need to make a big deal out of it; there's no toggle crouch in BF2, is there anyways? Try checking if stickykeys is on in the control panel under accessibility.
