    ).
this was the general thing i was thinking in my head most of the time when reading all of the tactics and possiblities listed. things tend to not go entirely according to plan, especially if some of your buddies decided they wanted to play FEAR project origin that day instead of bf2142 and you were then stuck with john doe pubbers to have teamwork. then also...what IF TeH other person had smarts AND better hit reG? what if...your in a vehicle and theres a team of TWO recon players going around the map rdx ramming people? what if they BOOSTED past motion mines?? what if someone stole your gunship? or if the enemy commander sat around with a SAWW the whole time deciding he liked to drop himself supply boxes and shoot at air vehicles?

srsly there is a counter to everything but then there is also a counter to every counter to everything.

i understand the whole point is that its good to be smart because this game rewards people who are smart more than alot of fps games but well yes i get the point

    ect.

Not really, it's just something to discuss for the sake of game discussion.

Transport rammers, on the other hand, have a special place in hell reserved for them. It's funny when one fails, though, and just ends up with a 'no more'.

I can totally understand your Berlin frustration but that's one of my favorite maps tbh :|. The only thing I can say you're being not smart about is Tankage, I always see people bring their Tank right up to the front lines expecting it to be JUST LIKE BF2 ZOMG. Which it's not.

Just remember to keep your distance with a Tank man And I do know it's unavoidable sometimes but still, Tanks aren't Walkers/Abrams from BF2.

hey wolf, make sure u get into beta testing for the next PC BF game so this doesn't happen again.

i just find it funny you come out with these revelations now, when people have moved on.

Oh I do my best to keep my distance when in a tank. This is one reason I hate getting a gunner in my tank (not only can I not switch to the top seat for gunships or infantry, but it always leads to the 'Go! Go! Go!' commo spam), nor do I care to be a gunner in someone else's tank because it generally means I'll end up going on foot when they drive straight into the enemy base. :hmm: I guess my problem is playing too much Tampa, since unlike the other vehicle maps ground vehicles can go pretty much everywhere and there's that higher of a chance of being surrounded. FAVs get past my base of fire all the time but I'm constantly on the lookout for them and usually see them before they can get me. Sometimes an APC can sneak around and there's not much I can do about it once that's happened. Oh well. :p

I tried Berlin IO one time and even though the lack of APC spammage was nice, the absence of walkers made it seem kind of boring. I guess I'm just out of luck trying to have my cake and eat it too.

Oh I've known about it for quite some time, but I think I had just come out of a round where every time I turned around I was getting EMPed and Pilum'd. It required rantage, which is what created this thread. Normally I'm very conservative with my tank and unless I'm being ganged up on and have no backup I'm fairly viable in one. Then again, if I recall, the round I was playing in saw my team lose something in the neighbourhood of 150-0 so I think that whole teamwork thing everyone else is going on about was lacking a tad... :p

Addapt yourself, thats we human been doing ever since. and APC's aint got **** on me. And as for the weak point I, most of the time, kill em with 2 well placed AV rocket.

                              NEko? get a G5 mouse
Yep and for the tanks, like some of you guys mentionned befor, dont let the APC's approach, and always stay clear in the rear of battle supporting your troops. that should solve your tank/APC issue.

Does increased mouse speed help the Neko turning? I thought gunships and the Neko had a locked mouse speed. I know I upped the gunship sensitivity to max and it made no difference. I figured they locked those two vehicles to prevent them from being overpowered. I'd wager being able to rapidly spin a Neko in place would create a clear imbalance.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you meant by a G5 mouse.
