Hokay, didn't know if anyone else had this problem, but, I can not connect to most custom servers, I just stay in the wandering landing of "awaiting connection...1" until it finally says error, connection timed out. I usually don't have a problem playing custom maps and mods...wtf, grr.

I get this from time to time as well, or I just get a black screen that is essentially the game hanging and I have to ctrl+alt+del out. I can usually then connect without a problem on the 2nd try.
I recall a fair number of people having the issue you described back in COD4. I'm not sure if a solution was ever found, other than adjusting a certain command in the config to lessen the amount of time or connection attempts that were made before a timeout finally occurred. -

Hopefully it gets fixed if this gets recognized by more people. Or maybe some searching will find a fix for this.Comment
