I wanted to know if UT3 on steam is a giveaway (free) or is it a trial, cause i found it on my not installed section with the column of gifts saying 2.5 days left. Thanks.

I believe it's a free weekend deal. Just download and play this weekend for free and after that it's still installed but you just can't play it until you purchase it.

Yeah I was kinda surprised yesterday when I logged onto steam and saw UT3 in my uninstalled games list...
