Ok without breaking any NDAs, I finally got an email regarding an invite to the closed beta.
I followed the simple steps by creating the 'secure layer' account, I then tied that account and the beta key to my regular EA account. Everything went through fine and said that it worked ok.
I try to login with both my 'secure layer' login as well as my EA account login and neither of them work.
I can't report this issue because in order to login to the forums/feedback, you need to pass the secure layer validation. Is there anyway I can report this issue without having that?

OK, FYI for those of you running into the same problem:
go to THIS URL http://beta.battlefield-heroes.com and at the bottom there is a form for resting the secure layer info, I'll see if that does it for me.
To login, you'll need to use the secure layer login you created and NOT your EA login.
