Why don't you compare Highway Tampa? That's what the original Battlefield was all about, 64 players, huge maps, tons of vehicles.
In a 'real' pub match, it's never 5v5.or promod.

And I think your video shows why. BF2 infantry ended up being a bunch of Solo-bunnies, while BF2 vehicles was ruined by balance issues (Yes, I mean the jets ) .
I experienced much better teamplay in BF2142, and there was no serious balance issues.
But I must admit that I wished for a bit more visual variation in the BF2142 maps.
That's exactly my point. You weren't really comparing the games at all. There were no big open maps, no tanks, walkers, APCs, gunships, jets, etc., just medic on IO Karkand and medic (assault) on IO Gib. That's not comparing 'Battlefield' games, since that's one class on one map with a large element of the game removed. That's like if Consumer Reports were to base their analysis on vehicles solely on the fabric used on the seat cushions.

Does that mean we are to compare the two based on those two maps alone? Those two kits? All kits? All maps? Vehicle balance? If you see post #12, I elabourated on his question and answered it both ways, pertaining to the video he posted and the two BF games as a whole overall (after which the TC told me to go **** a cup of coffee).

And for the record, I wasn't 'talking trash' about his video. He asked to compare BF games (which I did, and thank you for noticing) and then posted a video with a small sample of gameplay. Now did he ask to compare based on the video, or based on the games as a whole? I asked this question, since the first post wasn't clear on the matter, and got nothing but hostility from him, and now I'm getting undeserved hostility from you. Perhaps if you had started this little conversation without immediately hurling insults we could have resolved this in a mature and civilised manner, but it now appears that that ship has sailed.
