When you're too close the knife don't hit. Arm's length does it.

That's one thing I learned in watching the YT videos. I've never really been that good with the knife even going back to my BF2 days. But last night I started getting stabby much further away from guys than I normally would and ended up almost doubling my knife kills to date - even winning my first knife fight.
