i most definitely cant say i have been screwed by treyarch....i look back to a time where i played a game and if it was a bit buggy or glitchy i just overlooked it because i didnt even know what a patch was at all *cough* cause patches didnt exist *cough*......i cant say that they did either because the game worked when i installed it......do i think they suck because of the bad PR that the PC community had with them? absolutely, positively 100% yes......the fact that they constantly were shoving us aside and refusing to answer our questions just because they didnt want to answer with "we dont know" really pissed me off but its not enough to say that they screwed us over......tbh screwing us over would involve saying that thier will be a patch and never EVER giving us one......at least we got one.....thats more then what most games only a few years ago would do

And honestly, I tried not to hate on this game, but the slow support and lack of initial/basic features (/record for example) just ruined it for me. Fun for a bit, but couldn't last.

Maybe screwed is too harsh a word, maybe... disappointed. I didn't really have high expectations from the start (coming from Call of Duty 3) - maybe it's just how I view the CoD series differently from the 'mass' gamers.

I can see where you're coming from. I'm not a competitive player, just a pubber...but I sort of get an idea of the comp side of things from listening to the bashandslash.com podcasts. It seems that although many pub players enjoy CODWW, it has certain "flaws" that don't make it as ideal for comp play as COD4 or COD2. And that's fair enough.

I'm glad you clarified your position though. Being disappointed or frustrated because of technical issues is totally legit. But it's annoying when people use words like screwed, crap, garbage, etc. Under most circumstances, the game plays just fine. But it may not be suitable for specific things like competition.
