Germans vs Russian maps only server ?

Hello guys, does enyone know a good germans vs russian maps only servers ? (S&D only europe server). Because i just cant stand those japs vs usa maps they make me puke :dead:. I realy wished they had made this game germans vs russian or germans vs usa only. I would just love the game then. Cant stand the pasiffic crap at all.

Sorry, I don't know of any specific servers.

Airfield is one of my fav maps though, but diff opinions for diff people.

The only thing I don't like about Pacific maps is that you can shoot through many of the walls in the maps with pretty much any gun. People spam through the thin tin walls like a bunch of noobs on S&D.

Agreed, that can be a prob. That was the same reason I despised some of the CoD4 maps also. Too many walls that can be shot through = a nubcake camping with with is saw blowing everyone away...carumba.

Well I for one think most of the USA vs Jap maps were the best. The best maps in my opinion are Castle, Makin, Airfield, Cliffside, Hanger and Roundhouse.

Here I'm talking about War mod in MP
Most of the USMC maps are hard to win as a Marine, maybe it was made this way puposely seeing the Japs always had the advantage of terrain, yet the Marines always came out on top in every battle. Also with a better casuality ratio. Except in Okinawa where the Japanese inflicted more WIA but not as many KIAs as the Marines did to the Japs. Also another thing that was well shown in this game is how the Marines mostly fought by day, the Japanese always tried to regain the lost ground at night.

I find the multiplayer much better then the singleplayer campaign, although many will disagree with me, please agree to disagree.

I pretty much only play the War mode, it is amazing! And maybe that is why I also like the US vs. Jap maps b/c those are some of the best War maps, although almost all of the maps great in the War mode imo.

Yes I agree.

A friend of mine told me he didn't like War mod because it was BS and stupid. I told him it was pretty true and realistic in the idea though. Because when you kill people IRL your guys' moral goes up and you fight better, hence you can control a location faster. Also when you are being attacked you lose moral and it's harder to capture CPs and stuff. Then when you lose a "Base" you need to retreat, so capturing the next place will be less organized and moral will be very low. That's my view of things.

EDIT: Also the location of the control points are not random and for most I see a reason to controlling them. So that adds to the realism.

Agreed with what you said. Also to add, the fighting is always intense b/c people are attacking one point. Granted, some camp, but most are going for the flag. So you don't have the random flag cap across the map like in BF, you all have to fight together and teamwork actually occurs a lot in pub War mode. Not always...unfortunately lol. But yes, intense fighting, it's exhilarating.

Every now and then I find a good guy who follows me around and we cover each other. It's amazing what difference two organized people can do on a 32 player server.

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about! You can actually really change a pub War game with one good player, he can really sway things, but with 2, wow, you can pwn pretty fast. Which is why it's satisfying to win pub War game modes by yourself when the other team has about 4 of the same clan members. Those are usually the hardest to win, I have to try my hardest the whole time, but it feels good after. ^_^

On Cliffside I would often take a sniper (since I'm so good at quick scoping and it's one-shot-kill) and hide in that wooden bunker above the main objective, and I would snipe there until I got an artillery strike, then I'd drop that just before my 7th kill and have arty and dogs attacking at once and then I go and try to cap the flags. All the other team members are clueless and don't clear the area before they try and attack the base.

Yeah, I had come to notice that also, that middle wooden bunker must be under your team's control, or at least not in the hands of the enemy if you're going to cap that middle flag.

That happens to me once in awhile where the game is turned around by just me and one other good guy. Both of us just happen to follow each other and watch each others back as we mow down the noobs along the way to the objective.
