I have a joystick but it takes to long to learn thats why i use K&M to fly.If i had more room on my desk i would be using joystick to fly.

The golden rule of flying is:
M+KB for choppers and joystick for jets.

I'm all keyboard and mouse... I've tried 10+ joysticks over the years and just can't get the hang of them. I feel more precise with my gaming mouse. I do use a WolfKing Warrior FPS controler for my left hand as a keyboard replacement...

I don't think anyone can argue that a joystick setup, once mastered, is the optimal choice in terms of maneuverability. Mind you, this pertains to jets.. choppers are another matter.

That said, I've seen some great pilots over the years operating with M+KB setups. I do think that with respect to air-to-ground, M+KB can be just as effective as a joystick, but when it comes to a dogfight, joystick has total advantage.

Do as you wish but 9 out of 10 top pilots will recommend joystick :)

When I started I did not think twice before getting a stick

That's for jets of course. KB+mouse for helis

Use whatever you find more comfortable, I have never been able to use a joystick.. Except for my Atari when I was like 6... That joystick and button was epic win.
