Having read my previous posts again just thought I mention for the record I loved killzone 1 great game, excellent SP. The MP was god awful which at that time in my gaming career was what I was really into on the PS2.

KZ2 SP from what we have seen and played apears sublime, and we've heard good things about the MP. However after the hype surounding the first itteration in the series I'm a little hesistant to hail it as a multiplayer gem until I get my grubby hands on it myself and thrash it out.

By the way when KZ2 gets released (NEXT WEEK! Holy god can't believe it's come around that quickly) we should try and organise a day every week/every other week that we all get on and play would be ace to frag some familiar faces from TGN :)

I'm all for it. I will probably make short work of the Single Player campaign. I think we can hammer out a time and day that most of us will be available.

Remember to post your timezone if you recommend a time. I am open any time after 1830 CST during the week and any time between the hours of 0600 to 2100 CST on the weekend.

From previous experience of this sort of thing, weekends are the best times. Mostly due to time zones, a late night here int he UK will make it a reasonable time for most east coast USA players to be online. Which in turn makes it very late for mainland euro gamers.

Sundays used to work best as most people are usually not out on Sunday nights

We'll see how popular it is at/after release.

You've created a time paradox...

CST is equal to -6 GMT. Hmmm... well, maybe we will just have to be an international gaming league. Nothing wrong with that I say! That will increase the odds that someone I know will be online. I play a lot of games with Japanese player since I am awake and on around 0600 on the weekend (which is about 1500 over there) just because of that whole time zone thing. I think we can make it out.

Worse comes to worse you would have to have divisions (such as EU and Us division) if you wanted a really structured clan. However, are you guys looking to make this into a big deal or are we just trying to find some time to hang out with one another? I was under the understanding that the latter was the case.

I don't see how you guys can be excited for Killzone 2. I played through Killzone 1 and I really can't say anything impressed me or even interested me enough to look into successors (PSP one I think it's called Killzone Liberation/ PS3 Killzone 2). One of the blandest/ most vanilla FPS I own. Perhaps I'm judging the series unfairly, but if the initial offering doesn't interest me, the sequels typically won't interest me.

By the way, Killzone 1's SP is a glitchy piece of crap. Made me redo several levels for no fricking reason other than poor testing/coding.
