Internet dies after 5 min of play.

Hi people. My old wireless adapter is screwed so i'm useing a USB adapter but everytime i go online, play about 5 min it say connection interrepted (or sumthing like that) then i have to quit COD4 and try to repair internet. (won't work, freezes) anyone know how to stop this from happening??

Is the game freezing or the internet?

Does the internet freeze when not playing a game?

Is the USB adapter wireless?

What OS and service pack are you running?

One thing I can tell you is if you are using wireless USB, its usually unreliable. A lot of people have connection problems with them. A game transmits and receives a lot of data and will usually crush the poor brains of the USB wireless.
