Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2, to buy or not to buy?
Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2, to buy or not to buy?
I played previous Relic titles and still do which are CoH, Opposing Fronts, and am patiently awaiting the newest standalone exp pack Tales of Heroes i believe.
I have preordered DoW2 from GAME, and am now wondering if i should go ahead and buy it? what do you think? Thanks in advance.

Yea, the beta has been out for quite a bit now. I think i might end up buying this game at some point, although it feels a lot more casual than CoH etc, there is no base building you get one and tech from that. Its pretty fun and more designed towards 3v3 matches, although automatching seems a little better it still suffers from the same NAT errors as CoH and online hickups. Oh yea, also it uses a horrible Windows LIVE interface.

If you like CoH, you'll probably like DoW 2. It's nothing like the original, sadly.

(i will give the beta a try at some point tonight, as i am at uni now)
The SP is supposed to be good, co-op campaign and some other stuff, but yea, its for much more casual gamers imo, takes about 3 games and you know what your doing enough.
