Is L4D realy worth 50 $ ?

Hi ther so i was wondering if this game is realy worth 50 bucks ? i heard a lot of ppl say that the story is just way to short. Myself i think it s woth 20$ bucks though. And it s stupid that they removed the demo realy dont understand why they did that aswell

being in the UK i go on £ squids, 50 dollor is 25 squid here, yeh i think its a fair price for the game at this stage of its release.

I wish it was 20 dollor / 10 squid but life aint that fair.

Actually it's not like that right now since the whole financial crisis is screwing up the nice exchange rate. So now $50 is like £35 and $20 is £13.

I would not pay $50/£35/€38 for this game. Whilst it is fun to play, i think it's not as big as other games and you might get bored of it every now and then. But it's quite good in that, even if you tire of it, it keeps you coming back because it's still fun. Plus we have the new updates coming too.

I paid $15/£10/€11 for the game about a month ago. But that's cos I had a voucher, the original retail price was $43/£30/€33.

I would think $30/£20/€22 is more acceptable for this type of game, at this moment in time. Maybe even $36/€27 tops...

I paid 25 quid for the game and imo that was too much, 15-20 is what I would pay for L4D

If I had known beforehand I wouldn't have wasted the money on it tbh

but thats just my opinion

I bought it for $37 or so (when it was discounted after christmas) and I think that was a fair price. I don't know if I'd pay 50 unless I really was into zombie games.

If you like coop, it's probably worth it. If you want a single player game, it's probably not worth it.

I would have to say no as well. It is a good game, but not for $50. Similar to Skate 2. Good game, but not worth the sticker price.

I would say yes. It would have made more sense for it to be $25 but $50 is reasonable...Its an amazing game and i play it all the time. As for the demo part, They took it off bc the demo was so good that people would just play the demo and not pay for the game. Its like the same thing with Mirrors Edge
