Question about shock paddles

What constitutes as a "death" from a shock paddle?

Reason I ask this is because, I have 200+ shock paddle deaths and I know I haven't been killed that many times with a shock paddle. I always make it a note to see what weapon killed me.

So I was wondering. According to the battlefield stats. What gets calculated as a defibrillator death?

This is one of those questions that have annoyed us stats freaks for ages.

The stats show the number of deaths you have recieved whilst you your own paddles out. NOT the number of times you were killed by them. There is no stats for seeing how many deaths you got from a certain weapon/method.

Are you kidding me? No way! That makes no sense then. I mean, what you said makes sense, but what your saying doesn't!

How can that be an accurate kill:death ratio of the weapon, if it just shows what weapon you are using, not what weapon you got killed with. :shakehead:

That also explains why my "deaths" with the defibrillator suddenly went from low 100s to mid 200s over night. Since I've been addicted to shocking people with them. :laugh:

Annoying isn't it.

I mean I want to know how many times I have been killed by artillery etc. But no way can i find that out. It's a huge black hole in the stats system

2142 keeps track of deaths by weapons, but then you don't see how often you die with that weapon equipped.

Yes it is. I wish I would have never known the truth and just kept believing it was "deaths by". :laugh:
