Anyone getting wet over Burnout?

Maybe i'm the only person on TGN who's actually excited by the PC release of Burnout Paradise: The ultimate box?

I have been watching the development of this game since it was announced last year and pre-ordered it at the start of January. Console reviews have been nothing short of amazing, with the online modes praised for their smoothness and lack of menus.

I am looking forward to seeing how they use next gen graphics. From interviews, they stated that the game engines were built from the ground up and thus, the PC version isn't a simple port. Also, it's probably the first game to effectively use double and triple monitor technology!

Crazy coincidences; I just played on the original burnout on gc and was about to ask if there were any games like it for pc :awes

I played the demo on the PS3 and it was really fun and looks fantastic.

I had it for PS3, great game no doubt. But I knew when I bought GTA i'd probably never play it again so I got rid of it. Don't see the point in buying it again on my PC.

Got it on PC today. It's good, but there are some classic Burnout moments i remember from PS2 missing, namely crash mode.

Showtime just ain't the same

I never really liked Crash mode as it was so drawn out, at least in burnout revenge. If I fail, I want to try again right away, not having to skip through 1000 cutscenes D:

What are the other game modes then? Anything new or the same old usual?

The motorbikes are just pure awesomeness. No ragdoll bodies, but so, so fun to drive

They sound good as well!

I'm downloading it now. I haven't played a burnout game since my xbox!
