The red dot is where the center of the aim really is. Now why they did this with the MG36 and didn't screw up the other G36 weapons is beyond me. And M16 medic and assault are also different.
I've seen people just rape faces with that thing, though. Personally the LMG that bugs me the most is the M249 because the muzzle flash covers up your ironsights, which is ironic considering it's also my favourite LMG. :p
But I've got to give the worst ironsights in the game to the MR-444, hands down.

That's the best ironsight because you can actually see what you're shooting at.

M249 is my favourite too though. Sorta crap at range but a beast in close quarters, you just gotta remember to not save any bullets, spray at anything that moves.
Yes, but it always screws me up when I aim at stuff farther away. Generally the only times I'll use the pistol are if I'm out of ammo in close range, where I usually don't stop and ironsights anyway, or at longer range when I'm carrying a shotgun (or even sometimes an SMG). In the longer-ranged cases, where I'm using the sights, the 92FS and QSZ are easy to figure out because you just put the sight right on the guy and shoot, whereas with the MR you have to put your gun significantly below what you're shooting at to score a hit, because aiming like 'normal' will make all your bullets sail high over the target. This irritates me. :p
