I have been CTDing more than usual as well, though I've only been playing mods.

I haven't crashed in a while, but I did earlier today. As soon as I got into the server it crashed, then I played some CoD4 and tried again and it didn't crash.

We had this trouble during the 21CW open house event.After looking into it the MYIS guys said it was EA doing something to the main server or something like that.I'm just assuming they are doing something in preparation of 1.5 or at least that's what i hope it's for.

yes, same here but it happens only on some servers. Not sure if it is servers fault or EA. Other guys I know also have this problem

Same here. I usually only experienced the CTD about once a week but now it seems like 2-3 times a day.

im not crashing so much but im getting loads of punkbuster errors...........heart beat stops and ignoring md5 errors. i thought it was a mod or maybe that im on 64 bit OS but i know a few others who have been playing AIX that are getting the same errors as well. doesn't matter how many times i update PB, i still get it a few times every time i play.

It seems to me that the only map that me and my friends have been crashing on is Karkand. It started just a few days ago.

It just happened to [FUB]'s server three times in ten minutes. Not just me, everyone on the server goes to desktop.

And has anyone else been seeing tons of people get banned by PB for hacking lately?

Had a couple CTD issues that emptied an entire server over the weekend, so its definitely universal.

Most likely EA related, as mentioned above.

Yep same here for the past few days now about 5 mins into the game. I noticed that I've been getting a lot of this: "The PnkBstrA service was successfully sent a stop control" right before it crashes. Hopefully like the others said EA is doing prep work for the patch.

I reinstalled (like i have many times) and found I CTD after about 2 minutes. I reinstalled teh 1.41 patch twice and after that I was fine.

Try playing a non PB server, apparently the problem lyes with Punk Buster.

Well it's not CTD-ing anymore, I think it was just EA toying around...
