Battlefield 2 Will not install

Hi Tgn!

I have tried the search forum but couldn't find something related.

My spec

Intel 2160 @ 1.80
3gb ram
8500GT 512mb
P5LD2 SE mobo

I used to play vbf2 and Project reality 0.8 without any problems.

But yesterday I had problems with my PR so i just uninstalled battlefield.

I want re-install everything, but BF2 won't install at all.

When I click the autorun and start installation, a few seconds later

"Battlefield TM was interrepted and cannot finish installation" comes up.


It just won't let me install the game.

check this thread for install problems. you may have to do a manual uninstall.
