I have cast an eye over the the recent baur/voss and whatever posts. So little about how effective they are in a squad... always whats the best... neither both.. the knife is best... who cares.

In a squad theres a quality of the game you do not get otherwise COMRADERIE. That essence of caring and sharing and sacrificing.

Times I have run delibertly into apms knowing i have a assault behind me to revive. Or even casually waited for a sniper to take me down so the squad can pick his location out.

Squadddddddies Squad up in your next game and make an effort to help the team out. See if its a better game than the one you just had.

I can't count the number of times the enemy has thrown itself at me piecewise and then called me a whore because I was in a battlewalker and they were not. I've had 6-man squads with zero coordination all firing at me from the same spot, while I just strafed around their location and picked them off one by one as they launched an extremely bright pilum from a pitch-black terrain. Some of them resort to dropship-ramming me, which is fair game on most servers I play, but it still makes you think "Damn, they couldn't find a better way, huh?"

You wanna take down a whore? Make him panic. Overwhelm him. Cut off his chances of retreating. Surround him, hit him with multiple whammies to get him killed before he even realizes what had been going on. Point a railgun at him, make his vehicle sound alarms everywhere. Trust me on this, if a vehicle pilot hears the lock-on alarm, you'll see him look for its source immediately. He'll check the usual suspects: railguns. Meanwhile, you can come in from the opposite direction and land a good clean shot on him. In truth, it's not all that hard if you teamwork it up. A good squad can seriously put a dent in even the best driver and make him think twice about approaching that location.

I think BF2142 should have pyros like TF2, i mean seriously the people that made 2142 are just stupid for not adding it. Even though they are two completely different games and in no way are related...i think that 2142 should have pyros

i am pointing out very legitimate flaws in the game dont you think? and if you play your 2nd favorite game for 5 months its hard not to compare the 2 a bit when you see something stupid.

lol i wasnt complaining about shotguns, my point was that i wasnt complaining about them because its a part of them game. And also if you cant kill someone in the time it takes them to shoot all 40 voss bullets then thats your own fault

Wow if I have to read someone posting about the voss and how noobish they are i may have to take a baseball bat to my monitor. Seriously people get the **** over it and stop whining. I get rdx'd a lot but i dont go around bitching about it, i get nailed in one shot by a shot gun who just got surprised and clicked once but im not bitching about it..ok you can argue that i am now, but im not, my point is that you need to get over it, and realize there are a lot of other noobish tactics. I think most people are just mad when people ARE good with a voss because they get worked. I find that a krylov packs a much bigger punch then the voss, so go ahead start bitching about that...

hmmm US vs EU in clanmod would be a good laugh tooXD. in the eu all good players do not use rockets but the herzog shotgun, and hate the vossXD. but if we would do a US vs EU match we can do a server in eg france and one in NY. this way we both have the advantage of ping.
ps clanmod is only tier one unlocks
sniper: apm and rdx(this is soo stupid as they arent allowedXD)
medic: herzog and derfib(the usual kit)
engie: no idea what unlocksXD
support: only emp but you can get a shield by "cheating" and selecting a shield.

I dare you to smash your monitor. You bitching about ppl that ***** about the voss puts you in the same category. I just love how ppl think it's absurd that a shotgun kills guys in 1 shot. Ummmm........maybe because it's suppose to be that strong. When it starts killing people in 1 shot from 50ft away, ppl can start yelling "Stupid!"

I've said it once and i will say it again, the voss was fine in the beginning, it was an actual LIGHT assault riffle. It was a krylov with 10xtra rounds. I don't hate ppl who know how to use the voss, i just hate the n00bs that barely kill you because they can hold down the trigger for 3 seconds without ever letting go and manage to finally get you with the last bullet in their n00b clip.

80% of 2142 players just screamed "Oh NOES!" What other weapon will allow them to fire 40 shots in a row to barely kill 1 guy? The Voss should of just been labeled "Feather Machine Gun"
