Hi, i recently installed battlefield 2 again after not playing it for nearly a year, i got pretty addicted and played it often so i left the DVD in the disk drive, only to find out 1 day that my disk wasnt reconized, after forcing open the disk drive my BF2 disk was in pieces :shock:, far beyond repair.
Since my friend had a BF2 disk the same as mine i made a mini disk using alcohol 120%, in options in alcohol i selected extra emulation and set it too "BAD sectors emulation" (this was cause i heard i needed some safe disk thing :hmm:). I mounted the file alcohol created and the games lauches ok and lets me join ranked servers etc... however im wondering whether it will cause problems with punkbuster?, because i dont want a hardware ban or anything as i have lots of other games i play ... +my dad will kick my *** :dead:
