    Hack, or not? RDX selectivity

This is something I haven't seen since I've been playing (since the game came out)-- selective RDX charges. Normally, all of your RDX blows at the same time, right? I just played a Titan server where one of the corridor defenders was able to selectively blow his RDX at at least two different times. I know he didn't come out and lay another charge after blowing the first--it happened too fast, like one charge blew one second, and then another charge blew the next second. The same guy's name came up in the HUD for the kill, so it wasn't two different people.

The only way I can think of it happening is that he picked up another recon kit right after he blew the first charge, but a snitch box revealed only one person down in that corridor the entire time, long after I would have thought the dead soldier's pack would have disappeared. Unless a team mate of his with the same kit kept dying there and I missed it while I was podding in between my own deaths (pretty likely).

So is this something where that guy just got incredibly lucky with two kits at his disposal, or a deliberate strategy between two team mates, or is it some kind of new hack? Just curious.

    Cheers~

Prolly kit switching, or chain-explosions caused by the proximity of the two packs next to one another.

Zeller seems most likely to me.

ok on the topic of rdx. rdx hopping is seriously one of the only tactics used by the enemy in this game that i really feel shouldnt be possible. they really should have thought harder about the friendly fire system and just made it so you CAN hurt yourself but CANT hurt your teammates.

Zeller can detonate any explosive, RDX and motion mines included.

personally i think that it should be that when you reduce FF below a certain level, we'll say 80%, then the game should be unranked. i'd like to say it should be kept on 100% all the time to level the playing field, but larger servers are more prone to nade spamming & other careless acts of team damage/killing.

back on topic...it's probably kit switching or 2 guys. doubt it's some hack. haven't heard of that one.

[QUOTE=fatmooseknuckle;2368972] i'd like to say it should be kept on 100% all the time to level the playing field, [QUOTE]

i tend to agree but then how is it ''leveling'' a playing field. the only unlevel field that exists in pc gaming is the differences in people's computer hardware and internet connections.
