2142 account hacked?

I was checking my stats and noticed an odd stat. My worst death streak stands at 115! I may have my bad days, but that's just stupid. I thought it might have been some temp bug but i checked the EA site and stats-2142.com and they have that 115 recorded as well. I checked my server history and noticed that it says that i joined that retarded PWTE server on the 12th of JAN, which is know is crap.

No such server appears in the game history.


And i barely just noticed something, I had never earned a purple heart, but it says i have gotten one and the date is JAN 10 2009. So i for sure know my account has been hacked. Any suggestions on how to know what jackass did this or how to prevent it from happening again?

If you look at my server history you can pin point that it happend on 3 straight days.

On the 11th and 10th my KDR is ridiculously low compared to every other day where i am getting 1.8 2.0

I've been looking into that but i'm not sure if you can.

Even so, how can someone else play on my account? Don't they need my CD Key to match their account?

hmm well actually i have reinstalled my game a few times and i think if you know someone else's account name and password you can indeed use thier soldier online.

I think i tried using my soldier when i was visiting a buddy that owns the game, and it didn't work.

someone probably used a fake name hack to completely **** up your stats, it happens with a lot of people and there's nothing you can do about it i think

I thought name hacks were just that. Can they really affect someone's stats? I know there can be bogus PBBANS with name hacks, never heard of someone getting messed up stats due to them.

You can change your password on the EA site.

Just login with your email address and change your password.

Maybe someone knows your accountdetails.

No, you can play on any computer if you know the accountdetails. (BF2142 must be installed ofcourse)

I went to the EA site, went to my account, changed Email Address and password, but it didn't change the password for my 2142 account, it only changed it for my EA site account.


And everything in my server history looks fine except that PWTE server on the 12th. I'm sure it went on for 3 days cuz of those horrible Kill Death Ratios, but i can't pin point them on the server history where those other 2 days took place. Probly the same server because if you play the same server it's not going to show you played on it on the 10th. If those rounds took place in my machine, the servers would be in the server history on the game, because that history is stored in the PC, not online

try to contact the admins of that server. find out what happened, what ip it was, and try to find out what cd key it was. send that to ea and see what happens.

PWTE is a padding server, so i doubt it will be pretty pointless. I'm pretty sure this has to do with the fact that i have made my fare share of enemies over at the EA forums. Meh. I just pity the nimrod that has nothing better to do than give someone else bad stats

Yeah, when i posted about the lame asses on the EMP stat padding server


Now that i think about it, some douche said he was going to try and get my stats wiped and hinting at making bogus screenshots, or something along those lines. Oh well, i might of cared more a few months ago, but this game is slowly dying for me with the lack of decent quality servers
