could someone confirm that bf2 simulates the passing of daylight
for example
if you play a lan game for a few hours
at karkand shadows grow longer (espec. at the hotel)

and the sun is at a different angle

yes it happens after about 5 hours of lan play the hotel looks like this

Nah, i'm afraid it doesn't. Graphics requirements were high enough as they were when the game was first released!

Special elements for night were only added to the graphics engine with Battlefield 2 Special Forces, also why for some it ran like...

Would of been a great feature, I remember some games I played in that seemed to go on forever, but the shadows in this game look crappy enough.
