Installing BF2 Complete Collection Over Standard BF2 ?

I already have the standard BF2 installed (and AIX 2.0), but now that I've just received the BF2 Complete Collection I'd like to install that in place of the earlier BF2.

I'm going to give the standard BF2 to my son so he'll be using the key supplied with it, can I just install the Complete Collectio over my existing install but using the new keys ? Or do I need to uninstall BF2 and AIX 2.0 and start from fresh ?

I'd uninstall it. Just keep your profiles when prompted and you shouldn't need to retrieve your account and redo your settings.
Don't register the game until you're sure your son can create a new account on your old cd-key. If you register the game it will be locked to your account, so better off not registering at all unless you are prone to losing your cd keys.
