Well, fixing it is stupidly easy, so it's not a priority, but yes, i expect so. It seems to have got better lately though, doesn't happen to me as much.

It's not a "fix", but it's a workaround (ignore the guy's pansy voice in this vid):

You don't have to quit the game, you just need to wait to log in. Just go to Select Online Profile and choose your profile. It will try to log in but fail. Just wait untill it logs in on it's own and then choose the server you want to join. The key is not to refresh the server list after you are logged back in.

I now have this problem consistently and I have to use the method that is in that youtube vid. I cringe when he shows the weapons lol! But I appreciate the info he gave on getting around the problem. :)
