Ive bought this mouse about 2 months ago. Since i have it I tried to change the sensitivity during iam on the field, in Tanks Gunship and such but most of the time it gets stuck on a very low sensitivity, even at the 3rd lvl(max) its still kind of slow. So i have to close the game and relaunch. So ive decided not the touch it anymore. I feel like I trowed 50$ bucks out of the window. Any help anyone?

Being able to switch sensitivity on the fly is practically cheating in my opinion. I never had that advantage :rawr
I always used my Revolution. Have to choose aesthetics over functionality :) -
Re: To every G5 logitech users
Ive had both the G5 and MX18 and i think the MX18 is by far better, atleast it is more comfortable to use, but ive never had problems with the sensitivityComment

Re: To every G5 logitech users
i also have used both the mx518 & the g5. although i prefer the g5. if you're having sensitivity issues, that's probably software related. you can also set the sensitivity higher within 2142 for ALL vehicles, so it is automatically higher w/o using the mouse sensitivity. are you using the "set point" software?Comment

Re: To every G5 logitech users
I heard problems with Logitech mouses therefore I went for Razer series.
I use deathadder; even though there are no on the fly switch for DPI; I just use windows button 4 and 5 instead to switch. Mine goes up to 1800DPI.Comment

Re: To every G5 logitech users
I had a similar problem with the G5. I seem to recall that everytime I would switch to defib or pk rockets or something like that, then when I switched back my dpi went to crap (very very very slow movement while I paddled my mouse up crap creek).
So if I can recall the fix, I believe you have to disable game detection. It was a very simple fix that took my pea brain several days to figure out. I almost used the G5 to split wood with until I got the fix. I think what happens is the in game sensitivity likes to do battle with the logitech setpoint software. So by disabling the ability for them to communicate, and sending one to the naughty corner, you end the battling.
Hopefully that fixes it for you, because now this mouse is my fav for gaming, porn, and massaging the wife.Comment
