Laser reflection?

I have seen on some screens, some people had the red dot laser reflection on their gun when they point at a wall. When I do that, I see it through the wall, not the dot, I like it that way (Not seeing through walls). Like; don't think I'm weird, but I like it like that! I play on Lg.C Rat house server and they allow laser, my friends have the wall reflection on the laser, but mine is through the wall.

I thought I remember hearing that you only see the "reflection" in single player. However, since your friends see it...

Number of Dynamic Light: Normal
Try turning that to high

Try turning AA up to 2x

Other than that, I can't think of what else you would need to change.

Would it have to do with DX10 or the shader version of his video card?

The red dot sight or the laser you see with night vision? Try updating drivers maybe?
