do you feel that the opfor are at a tactical disadvantage on most desert maps due to the flaring clothing that they wear? there are many areas where the usmc blends in very well with thier sand colored camo but the opfor are more easily visible.

Yeah, I only have issues with the red berets. They do stick out.
Other then that, I dont notice the scarves.
