Does anyone know if you can use an xbox 360 controller with this game cause that would be awesome!

I don't think so, no.

Plus, you would get owned badly as controllers notably have poorer accuracy. Consoles counter this by making the crosshair track the target slightly, but not on PC.

You can use a 360 controller for PC but it takes some fiddling around... I don't think anyone here has any experience so you'll have to google it

But as said be prepared to be owned badly

HAHAHA well based on that I think I'll stick with the good old mouse and keyboard

You can use Pinnacle, JoyToKey, Switchblade, or Xpadder to have your controller emulate mouse/keyboard functions. COD:W@W doesn't support controllers by default.
And yeah, you'll get totally served if you try to play multiplayer with a controller. A mouse can be fast AND precise. A thumb stick can be one or the other.

Yea thats all true, the only reason a controller would be nice is for the special weapons buttons grenades stuff like that cause on a controller the buttons are close and easy to access, unlike my keyboard set up

I heard that the CoD:WaW box says that you can Support 360 controllers, when in fact you can't.

But anyway, don't do it. Just change your control buttons to suit you.

As someone else posted, you can use this to enable a Xbox360 controller in the game. It's a free download: http://www.xfire.com/cms/xf_switchblade/

Some boxes sold in Europe incorrectly state that 360 controllers are supported. It's a mis-print.

You could always purchase a decent gaming mouse & use the extra buttons for the special weapons etc, I couldn't do with out mine!!

A decent gaming mouse can make playing game a lot more fun and can provide a distinct advantage at times so they are a good buy :)
